American Son

Mike Holland (Nick Cannon) is nineteen years old and he has just completed his basic training as a Private in the United States Marine Corps. On a four-day leave before shipping out to Iraq he goes home to try and reconnect with his family and friends. Falling deeply in love with a young woman he meets on his trip (Melonie Diaz) - but it's a love made bittersweet by his fear that he will not be coming home again, except in a body bag.
