Wartime, 1942. Singapore. An Australian fighter pilot shot down in combat awakens suspended in the treetops. As night devours day, he must navigate through the heart of a war-torn jungle, abruptly abandoning hope of victory in favour of a search for sanctuary. Deep in enemy territory, he stumbles across a Chinese freedom fighter and the two men, who don’t share a language, realise they share something much more important – the fight for survival.
