FAR NORTH is a chilling feature from the award-winning British director Asif Kapadia (Senna / The Warrior). Set in the vast and remote landscape of the Arctic, it tells a beautiful, shocking story of survival and revenge. Against her instincts, a woman; Saiva played by Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), rescues a wounded stranger; Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings Trilogy) from the ice and nurses him back to health with the help of the young and stunning Anja; Michelle Krusiec (Saving Face). The two women compete for the man's affection, only to become embroiled in a heated love triangle. Shot with precision under treacherous conditions, the film shows the universal longing for love and connection, amid the hardships of arctic life.
