Midway 1942

In June 1942, the first major aircraft-carrier battle in history took place. From June 4th to 7th 1942, the Imperial Japanese Navy and the United States Navy, faced each other, at the Midway Islands. When the battle was over, four Japanese carriers were at the bottom of the sea, while the US Navy lost only a single carrier.
