Pupendo

Set in 1984 Czechoslovakia, Pupendo follows Bedřich Mára, a sculptor banned from exhibiting by the Communist regime. Living in a small flat with his family, he maintains his integrity through sarcasm and beer. The film humorously contrasts his gritty non-conformist life with the comfortable, compromising existence of his former student, highlighting the absurdity of life under socialism.
