A unique Polish couple in their 80s. After living in their flat for 66 years, they are forced to move out. While Maria has an extraordinary spirit full of indomitable optimism and vitality, Tadeusz is a quiet scientist and fatalist. Now they have to face a threat to their existence that unveils the touching stories of their life and casts a shadow over the present. It's a film about justice and equality, the crisis of morality in modern society, and how to stay young while getting old.
