As a young novelist and his wife are coping with the loss of their child, their lives are turned upside down when a panicked girl appears at their secluded house in the middle of the night with stories of people in masks stalking her. That night the masked faces appear at the window and the couple begin a terrifying game of cat and mouse, resulting in a shocking realisation and one of the most chilling endings to any film of recent years.
