The Visit

The beautiful and wealthy Karla Zachanassian has an affair with local guy Serge Miller. However, when she becomes pregnant and he denies being the father of her child, Karla is shamed into leaving town. Years later, she returns and offers a large amount of money to the citizens of the small hamlet on the condition that Serge is killed. As the residents struggle with the troubling offer, they weigh the moral issues against considerable financial gain.
