Leaving prison after a wrongful prosecution, mum Nell Prichard is recruited into an inmate forest firefighting team. Running up against instructor Yeager, Nell graduates, but must continue to fight for respect in the midst of the flames. At the same time she's fighting for custody of her daughter, taken away from her when she went into prison.
