After seeing Logan on a date with another girl, Rory regrets their new agreement to date other people.

When Luke agrees to build sets for the elementary school's production of 'Fiddler on the Roof', he knows that Lorelai is the costume designer and hopes that their paths will cross.

Rory is impressed when Logan takes her to an elaborate event staged by his secret society, and she participates in a thrilling, but dangerous stunt.

Luke is jealous after Lorelai gets a phone call from Christopher, but a huge change in his personal life sees him rethink his feelings towards her. Meanwhile, Rory re-enrolls at Yale.

Rory bumps into old flame Jess at her grandparents' house, which soon causes problems with Logan and Emily. Elsewhere, Luke sponsors a girls' soccer team, while Lorelai cares for her pet dog.
