Alexander Gauge

Actor Alexander Gauge appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Gauge's career beginnings included film roles in the Niall MacGinnis biopic "Martin Luther" (1953) and the James Hayter comedic adventure "The Pickwick Papers" (1954). He then acted in "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1955-58), the Jack Warner drama "The Square Ring" (1955) and the Bob Hope comedy "The Iron Petticoat" (1956). Later in his career, Gauge acted in "The Passionate Stranger" (1957) starring Ralph Richardson. Gauge passed away in August 1960 at the age of 46.
