Alice Lowe
Alice Lowe was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. She began her acting career with roles in the series "Black Books (UK)" (2001-04), "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" (Syfy, 2005-06) and "The IT Crowd" (IFC, 2006-2010). She also appeared in "Pulling" (SundanceTV, 2008-2010). During the early stages of her Hollywood career, Lowe mainly held acting roles in films like "Hot Fuzz" (2007) with Jim Broadbent. She continued to work steadily in television throughout the 2010s, appearing on "Sherlock" (PBS, 2010-) and "Inside No. 9" (BBC 2, 2013-). Following that project, she worked on "Kill List" (2012) with Neil Maskell and "Sightseers" (2013). She spent the 2010s tackling film roles in "The World's End" (2013), the Tom Hardy thriller "Locke" (2014) and the family adventure "Paddington" (2015) with Hugh Bonneville. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Drunk History UK" (Comedy Central, 2014-). Lowe most recently acted in "Black Mountain Poets" (2016).
