Allan Eastman

Allan Eastman was a well-known director who spent most of his entertainment career working on television programs. Early on, Eastman directed a variety of independent films, such as the Jim Henshaw thriller "Snapshot" (1978), the Donnelly Rhodes drama "Danger Bay" (1984) and the comedy "Crazy Moon" (1987) with Kiefer Sutherland. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Eastman directed some television shows like "The Littlest Hobo" (1980-81) and "Friday the 13th: The Series" (1987-1990). Eastman's next directing projects were films such as the Jim Henshaw thriller "Snapshot" (1978), the Donnelly Rhodes drama "Danger Bay" (1984) and "Crazy Moon" (1987). He continued to work in television in the eighties and the nineties, directing programs like "Avonlea" (1989-1997), "Sweating Bullets" (CBS, 1990-95) and "TekWar" (USA, 1994-96). In his more recent career, Eastman directed "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (1995-2000) , "Gene Roddenberry's "Earth: Final Conflict"" (1997-2002) , and "BeastMaster" (1999-2002), Most recently, Eastman directed "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda" (2000-05).
