Andrew J. West

Born in the small town of Merrillville, Indiana, actor Andrew J. West made his first professional appearances as an actor with bit parts in short films. West then appeared on the comedy-drama series "Privileged" (CW 2008-09) in a recurring role. The young actor next co-starred in the cult favorite comedy "Greek" (ABC Family 2007-2011) as Fisher. After guest appearances on numerous other series, including the short-lived Twitter-inspired comedy "Bleep My Dad Says" (CBS 2010), West was cast in the blockbuster zombie-apocalypse series "The Walking Dead" (AMC 2010-). West played Gareth in Season 4 and was made a series regular for Season 5. The character was based on the character Chris the Hunter in the comic book that inspired the series. After that small-screen success, West was cast as the titular character in "Walter" (2014), a low-budget indie feature about a movie theater ticket-taker who believes he is the son of God.
