In Bill's absence, Jessica seeks Pam's advice to get herself out of a rather sticky situation. Sam spends more time with his birth family, but his zeal isn't welcomed by all of his newfound relatives, while Tara finds unlikely solace in the shifty vampire Franklin Mott.

Mac is in Chicago as he tries to piece together the clues left by the 333 caller. In New York, the rest of the team head to the subway to investigate the death of a train operator, only to find that his death is also linked to the 333 case.
