The Mystery of the Spanish Chest
On a visit to the opera Poirot is approached by Lady Chatterton who asserts that the life of her friend, Marguerite Clayton, is threatened by her jealous husband. Edward Clayton is suspicious about a relationship between Marguerite and the handsome Major Rich. At a party thrown by Rich the grizzly discovery is made of Edward Clayton's body in a large ornate chest. Is the Major guilty? Only Poirot is able to uncover the truth.
