Brick informs Frankie and Mike that he would like to go to his school's Fall Fantasy Dance. Sue becomes edgy after drinking a lot of coffee in order to appear a more sophisticated senior.

Brick learns that his quirky girlfriend, Cindy, wants him to kiss her on Valentine's Day. Darrin asks Frankie and Mike for help with a scavenger hunt he's planning for Sue and Axl questions a request from his girlfriend.

The Hecks prepare to drop off Sue and Axl at college, but they face obstacles. Brick is worried when Cindy says they should take their relationship to the next level.

Axl returns home from Europe with a new outlook on life. Sue decides to cram a whole summer of fun into two days. Brick doesn't know if he should break up with Cindy. Frankie tries to come up with an item for a time capsule.

Frankie and Mike are stunned to learn that Brick has invited a girl over to the house just to hang with him. Meanwhile, Sue hits on an idea to help supplement her college fund.

Due to their kitchen sink still being in disrepair, the Hecks decide to eat out for Thanksgiving. Brick invites his girlfriend Cindy and Sue tries to help Darren be approved by Mike.
