Root questions Weeks, one of the few men who knows of the Machine's existence, about where it is, and kills him afterwards. Meanwhile, Reese and Carter go to Texas to investigate the girl who disappeared a few years ago.

Sherlock pursues Martin Ennis, an unpredictable criminal, before he strikes again. During the investigation, Sherlock is forced to work alongside Kathryn Drummond, the FBI profiler who literally wrote the book on Ennis.
