Chelsey Crisp

A memorable and energetic force on screen, comedic actress Chelsey Crisp began exploring her talents as a performer while she was still in elementary school. After gaining experience with programs like the Vagabond Youth Theater, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, graduating with a degree in theater. Crisp also traveled to England to study Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. Upon returning to the U.S., Crisp began taking classes in improv comedy at venues like the Steppenwolf West and the Upright Citizen's Brigade. Sketch comedy would prove to be a great fit for Crisp's talents, and she would go on to found Duchess Riot, an all-female improv comedy troupe. Crisp soon found her way onto the screen as well, performing stunts on the reality series "Fear Factor" (NBC, 2001-06) in 2005. In 2007, she landed a guest starring role on an episode of "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012), followed by an appearance on "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) the following year. Though she would become increasingly well known in the improv comedy world, especially for her regular appearances at the ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles, Crisp's big break in the realm of TV would come in 2015, when she was cast as frustrated trophy wife Honey on the sitcom "Fresh Off the Boat" (ABC, 2014-).
