The CSIs delve into the seedy side of air travel when a flight attendant is brutally murdered. With a pilot, an air marshall, and a stalker all in the frame, the team struggles to ascertain who committed this sadistic act.

Mike becomes Bello's personal bodyguard after he applies for the role to get closer to the gangster. He also finds out why the FBI no longer trust Briggs, and works out a way to test his colleague's honesty.

Charlie meets with a CI who has details that could help take a major criminal off the street, but the informant's unpredictable behaviour almost blows the bust, and the trusting officer must reconsider her relationship.
