Stella thinks that she has finally got a night off, but when the millionaire host of the private art show she's attending is skewered to his date with a high-tech bow and arrow, Stella knows that her evening will be all work and no play. Elsewhere, Danny and Lindsay come across the dead body of a music promoter entirely covered in the glue he was using to paste posters of the hottest band to hit Greenwich Village.

Nicole is anxious to finally have the baby and tries every old wives' tale out there to induce labour, while Deena and Dave each go out on separate dates. Deena goes out with her rich client TK, while Dave goes out with a woman much younger than him. Meanwhile, Brian and Dave cause a lot of problems along with damage at Ivy's bar, and they are forced to do community service at a homeless shelter.
