Ted is in a quandary after meeting an activist, Zoey, who wants to save a landmark building that is to be torn down and replaced by the new GNB building that Ted is designing.

Rather than be apart on Thanksgiving Day, Will and Grace join Jack and Karen for a festive holiday motor tour of their respective dysfunctional families. Karen is miffed when she visits Stan in jail and he tells her to sleep with other men, but then starts to explore the possibilities, Grace insults her domineering mother, and Jack takes his son Elliot to meet his stepfather.

Will, Grace, Jack and Karen's Thanksgiving tour continues as the gang pay visits to the remaining family homes.

Michael falls for a British woman while investigating an outrageous claim by George, Sr. in which he says a British construction firm tricked him into doing business with the Iraqis.

While on a road trip with her father, Grace reveals a past secret that changes their relationship forever. Meanwhile, legendary drag queen Miss Coco Peru emcees a lip-sync monologue throwdown to determine who will be Jack's best man, Will or Karen.

Jack and Estefan's wedding in Spain takes a detour when their flight is cancelled. Elsewhere, Will worries his relationship may turn long-distance and Karen reconsiders a commitment.
