Set in Canada, a group of ambitious amateur chefs will show what they stand for in the kitchen. In each episode, the participants compete in different culinary assignments and must give everything to impress the tough judges.

Kevin meets his childhood crush again, the ghost of Bloody Mary from the mirror. The orphanage where he first met her is haunted by a little girl whom Kevin is supposed to help. Unfortunately the little one doesn't speak.

The cooks face their first Mystery Box Challenge, and face a meaty Elimination Challenge.

The home cooks compete in a trying Restaurant Takeover team challenge and then some have to prepare the judges' breakfasts to escape elimination.
