Florinda Bolkan

Florinda Bolkan was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Bolkan's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Ewa Aulin comedic adaptation "Candy" (1968), the Jean-Louis Trintignant romance "The Love Circle" (1969) and "Complicated Girl" (1969) with Catherine Spaak. She also appeared in "The D*mned" (1969), "Anonimo Veneziano" (1970) and the John Cassavetes crime feature "Machine Gun McCain" (1970). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Una Lucertola con la Pelle di Donna" (1971), "Un Uomo da Rispettare" (1972) and "Una Breve Vacanza" (1973). She also appeared in "Atentat u Sarajevu" (1976). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in the thriller "La Gabbia" (1985) with Tony Musante, "Prisoner of Rio" (1988) with Steven Berkoff and "The Snare" (1989). She also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Some Girls" (1989) with Patrick Dempsey and "Miliardi" (1991). Bolkan most recently acted in "Non Si Sevizia un Paperino" (2007).
