George DelHoyo

At the tender age of 12, George Del Hoyo began his entertainment career as an actor. Hoyo's early acting career was mostly founded on his roles in various television comedies, such as "9 to 5" (ABC, 1981-84) and "Star of the Family" (ABC, 1982-83). He also was featured in the miniseries "The Seekers" (1979-1980). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "One Night Band" (CBS, 1982-83) and "Changing Patterns" (CBS, 1986-87). In the eighties and the nineties, he shifted his entertainment career towards more dramatic roles, appearing on "Generations" (NBC, 1988-1991), "The Commish" (1991-95) and "The Secrets of Lake Success" (NBC, 1993-94). He also appeared in the TV special "Carrion Death" (HBO, 1990-91). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "VR.5" (1994-97), "Nowhere Man" (UPN, 1995-96) and "Space: Above and Beyond" (Fox, 1995-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Crying Child" (USA, 1995-96). Most recently, Hoyo voiced characters in the Johnny Depp smash hit animated film "Rango" (2011).
