John Cena and a group of mentors called `The Cadre' lead 17 new competitors through individual and team-related challenges.

The contestant learn about personal sacrifice during the first team challenge. The winning cadre leader chooses three rival contestants to face off in the individual elimination challenge.

The remaining contestants battle it out for a place in the final and a chance at winning the grand prize.

The cadres appoint new team captains who must navigate their blindfolded teammates during a boat race to prove they can work well together. A contestant makes a revelation and Cena surprises a competitor with an off-site trip.

Contestants must learn to work together when they are tasked with a foot race in the muck, roped waist to waist.

Contestants must race to an array of boxes and choose between helping themselves or helping their teams.
