Ivor Salter

Ivor Charlie Salter (22 August 1925 – 21 June 1991) was an English actor who appeared in character roles in numerous United Kingdom television productions and films from the early 1950s until the 1980s often appearing as a police constable.

Gardening Time

In this final episode, Blakey and Jack decide to forget the dirt and noise of the depot and take up gardening. Both their gardens are totally dilapidated but gradually they build them up to Chelsea Flower Show proportions. The reason for this is not philanthropic - the manager has decided to hold a competition for the best garden. Whilst Blake wants to stay in the manager's good books, Harper is after the cash prize
