Jana Robbins

Jana Robbins was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Robbins began her acting career playing characters on a variety of series including "Cheers" (1982-1993), "Roseanne" (ABC, 1988-1997) and "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). She also appeared in "Family Album" (CBS, 1993-94) and "Bless This House" (CBS, 1995-96). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "JAG" (1995-2005), "The Home Court" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). She also starred in the TV movies "Executive Target" (HBO, 1996-97) and "The Last Days of Frankie the Fly" (HBO, 1997). More recently, she tackled roles on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and "Nurse Jackie" (Showtime, 2009-2015). Robbins took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the Mike Birbiglia comedy "Stanley Cuba" (2007) and the Meg Ryan dramatic adaptation "The Women" (2008). Most recently, Robbins acted on "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-2016).
