The remaining contestants competed in a mise en place challenge for a chance to take the 10 spots in the top 24.

With 70 minutes on the clock, the contestants must use all 11 ingredients in the box and create an amazing dish. Those with the lowest scores will face the pressure test.

The contestants are asked to prepare their signature dish. The top seven undergo a beef wellington pressure test.

In the elimination challenge, two contestants make coq au vin. Each chef is given eight turns to select an ingredient to add to the dish to improve it.
