Each cook gets one hour to make a dish. Those who impress all three judges will go on to the next audition. The cooks who impress only two judges will have to cook again.

The contestants who failed to impress in the last challenge face an elimination cook-off, producing dishes using their favourite and least favourite ingredients to cook with. Plus, there is the first masterclass.

The cooks face a mystery box challenge, choosing from ingredients including lemons, tarragon, calamari, spatchcock and mangoes.

The contestants are tasked with cooking a dish they would eat for the rest of their lives if they found themselves on a deserted island. They have an open pantry and 75 minutes to create something delicious.

The winners of the previous challenge face off with special guest chef Curis Stone in order to win an immunity pin.

The second day of auditions sees 13 contestants return for another chance at grabbing a spot in the top 24, but after giving away 18 aprons on the first day, only six remain.
