Sammy Jo and Jeff are relieved when the body found floating in the lake is not Krystle. However, Blake's fears increase when Krystle's car is discovered, with the man arrested for stealing it being a convicted murderer.

Blake remains perplexed by Krystle's memory lapses, fearing they may happen again. Adam puts his plan of taking control of Denver-Carrington into action by hiring Steven's personal assistant to work for him, and Sable makes a move on Dex.

Fearing that his darkest secret will be revealed, Blake makes a decision in hopes of putting an end to the investigation. Sable leads Dex on before shutting him down, and Virginia is unable to hide her dislike for Dex.
