The 22 contestants are thrown into their first big Service Challenge. With Jamie Oliver running the kitchen, they must feed 40 returning MasterChef Legends with a three-course meal.

With 75 minutes on the clock, the judges task contestants with preparing a dish that best represents their food dream for the first elimination challenge of the season.

In the first immunity challenge of the season, five contestants have to choose between one ingredient and 90 minutes to cook, or up to 20 ingredients with only 45 minutes to cook them.

Andy's mother, Maree Allen, challenges the chefs in an elimination round. They must create a new dish by taking inspiration from one of her classic recipes like the Pine burger, Maree's lamb chops, and Maree's fruit salad slice.
