Karelle Tremblay

Karelle Tremblay was a Canadian actor who starred in the 2015 drama "Our Loved Ones." Born and raised in Montreal, Tremblay always had a desire to act. Her gift for performing was evident at a very young age, and the age of 12 Tremblay began acting professionally. While still in her early teens, Tremblay was cast in the Radio-Canada TV show "Le Club des Doigts Croisés" (2009-2010). The experience instilled the young actress with the confidence she needed to be in front of a camera. After her run on the show ended, Tremblay began to turn her attention into Canada's bustling film industry. Now equipped with the confidence of a seasoned professional, she had no problem wowing casting agents, and before long the still-teenage actress started to land starring roles in major Canadian films. In 2013 she made her film debut in the Canadian thriller "Amsterdam." Although Tremblay's role in the film was minor, it did not take her long to parlay the experience into more film roles. The following year she appeared in "Corbo" (2014). Tremblay was in the main cast of the film, which took place in Quebec in the 1970s, thus adding further prestige to her already growing acting career. Then in 2015 Tremblay landed her first starring role in the Canadian drama "Our Loved Ones." The film was written and directed by Anne Émond and starred Tremblay as a young daughter who was still reeling from the emotional trauma of her grandfather's suicide.
