Keith Powers

Born in Sacramento, California, Keith Powers was an athlete in high school, but he abandoned a potential sports career to follow a path that led him to the screen. A local model during school, after graduation, Powers signed with Wilhelmina and appeared in a number of magazine editorials and fashion campaigns. His first professional acting experience came when he landed the lead role in "House Party: Tonight's the Night" (2013). The exposure helped propel him into a recurring role on the show "Faking It" (MTV, 2014-16) playing a police officer undercover at a high school. While "Faking It" was still airing, Powers landed a series regular role on "Sin City Saints" (Yahoo, 2015). The show followed a fictional basketball franchise during its inaugural season in Las Vegas. Powers played the MVP candidate, and star of the team. In 2015, he also appeared in the hit film "Straight Outta Compton" (2015) playing Dr. Dre's younger brother. In 2017, he appeared as Ronnie DeVoe in the mini-series "The New Edition Story" (BET, 2017).
