Following Chazz's arrest, Lester consoles his sister and continues to develop his newfound assertiveness, enjoying his new life. At an award ceremony, he is rattled to find Lorne Malvo in the hotel bar.

Lester has an unexpected encounter, Malvo changes course, and a new investigation leads Molly down a familiar path.

Molly takes the lead, while Gus pursues a hunch. Meanwhile, Lester manipulates the situation, and Malvo finds a new target.

The crew returns from hiatus feeling rested and recharged, until a branding guru (Utkarsh Ambudkar) is brought in to revamp the show.
