Watching a holographic message of Rev Bem saying goodbye to the crew, Harper (Gordon Michael Woolvett) is thoroughly distressed, as Rev Bem was his only hope of ridding his stomach of Magog eggs. Doubled over in pain, Harper becomes unconscious. Trance (Laura Bertram) examines him, discovering that the Magog eggs will hatch in less than one week. It is decided they must seek out the expert scientific minds of the Sinti, specifically Technical Director Hohne (Alex Diakun).
