Lela Bliss

Lela Bliss's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of her Hollywood career. Bliss's career beginnings included film roles in "The Dark Mirror" (1946), "Gas House Kids Go West" (1947) and "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947) with Maureen O'Hara. Later, she acted in the Dan Dailey drama "Give My Regards to Broadway" (1948), "Intruder in the Dust" (1950) with David Brian and "To Please a Lady" (1950). She also appeared in "My Little Margie" (1951-55), the Barbara Stanwyck drama "All I Desire" (1953) and "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). Later in her career, Bliss acted in the comedy adaptation "Pepe" (1960) with Cantinflas. Bliss passed away in May 1980 at the age of 84.
