While searching for her mother, Dorothy is swept up by a tornado and dropped into a mystical world, where she soon comes to the attention of a despotic Wizard and some vengeful witches.

Lucas's wounds are getting worse, leading Dorothy to track down a witch to heal him. Meanwhile the Wizard's guards are on Dorothy's trail, and the Witch of the West blames him for her sister's death.

As the Wizard grows ever more paranoid about witches in his midst, Dorothy and Lucas head to visit Glinda, only to receive a surprise.

As the Wizard gathers his forces for war, Glinda puts Dorothy to work looking after her army of witches. But Lucas is torn between his new love and his old.
