During the show's run she also appeared as her "Petticoat Junction" character on other CBS shows with a rural theme, including"The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Green Acres." After the show's cancellation she appeared again on "The Beverly Hillbillies" both as Bobbie Jo and Elizabeth Gordon. She also had a regular role on the short-lived Bob Denver comedy "Dusty's Trail," and retired from acting in 1980 after appearing in the science fiction film "Captive."
