Malcolm Waite

Malcolm Waite was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Waite began his acting career with roles in such films as "The Hill Billy" (1924), the remake "Durand of the Bad Lands" (1925) with Buck Jones and "Kentucky Pride" (1925). He also appeared in "The Gold Rush" (1925). He continued to act in productions like "The Lucky Horseshoe" (1925) with Tom Mix, "Kid Boots" (1926) with Eddie Cantor and "No Man's Gold" (1926) with Tom Mix. He also appeared in "Now We're in the Air" (1927). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in the Tom Mix western "The Broncho Twister" (1927), the Dolores Costello dramatic period piece "Noah's Ark" (1929) and the Rudy Vallee romance "The Vagabond Lover" (1929). Waite more recently acted in "24 Hours" (1931). Waite passed away in April 1949 at the age of 57.
