The all important election day has arrived and the whole family rallies for some last minute campaigning - Mitch and Cam ride around in a 'Vote for Claire' mobile, the Dunphy house is campaign central with everyone manning phones and soliciting votes, and Claire does some last minute interviews -- with a few technical difficulties.

Cristina Yang has little sympathy for Constance Ferguson (special guest star Rosanna Arquette), a prison inmate who jeopardizes her health just to get out of solitary confinement. Meanwhile the interns all keep careful watch on the family of premature quintuplets with a variety of serious health challenges, Izzie's anger at Alex reaches boiling point, and Dr. Addison Shepherd decides to teach Izzie a very painful lesson.

Meredith is mortified when her "one night stand" shows up at the hospital suffering from priapism and needing medical attention; a woman carrying quintuplets is overwhelmed by numerous medical issues as she navigates her high-risk pregnancy; and Alex's shortcomings frustrate Izzie.

A mentally unbalanced woman poses as an officer and performs heroic acts; a witness demands a reward before he will identify a murderer.

Jack and the team investigate the disappearance of Stephanie, a singer in a church choir. Stephanie's choir director informs the agents that the missing woman had been unusually emotional at the last choir practise and requested to perform a particular hymn on Sunday but then failed to show up to sing it.
