Christy learns that Jill is about seven weeks pregnant and that she is not invited to Jill's baby shower, which makes her angry. A day later, Jill has a miscarriage and Christy goes to apologise but is turned away.

Christy contemplates giving up her dream job as a lawyer when Bonnie's former girlfriend offers her a big bucks real estate job.

On the 20th anniversary of her mother's suicide, Jill laments her own lonely life and decides to have a child. Christy tries to talk Jill out of it, which only angers Jill and causes her to question their friendship.

Marjorie takes a break from the group, so Bonnie becomes the go-to person for everyone's problems. Christy faces a painful memory.

Christy and Bonnie try to help Jodi, a teenage addict from their support group. Christy ends up getting fired from her manager position after asking for a raise.

Christy and Bonnie help Jill get sober again, however, Christy's boyfriend is less than understanding when it ruins his birthday weekend.
