
Mike Batt
Michael Philip Batt is an English singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, record producer, director, and conductor. He previously served as the Deputy Chairman of the British Phonographic Industry. Batt is recognized for creating The Wombles, a novelty pop band that recorded the theme song for an animated BBC series of the same name. He also composed the song "Bright Eyes” for the 1978 animated film Watership Down. He is also credited with launching the career of singer Katie Melua.
