Julius hits the jackpot when he finds $200 of food stamps - but Rochelle won't use them! Chris and Greg argue about their science project.

Chris's beloved grandfather dies while paying a visit to Rochelle and the family, and the extended family comes to town to pay their respects.

Chris asks a girl out, but is left disappointed when she stands him up. Rochelle is at loggerheads with new neighbour Louise.

Chris gets everyone in the neighbourhood to believe that he is dating Tasha. That doesn't sit well with Tasha's grandmother Louise, and she makes sure that Rochelle knows about it. Julius must redeem all of the trading stamps he's been saving, and Drew thinks that Rochelle is paying more attention to Chris and Tonya than to him.

As part of the election campaign for class president, Chris has to prepare a speech. A new resident in the building causes Julius stress.

Chris finds Julius' copy of `Playboy', takes it to school and charges kids to look, but disaster strikes when Joey Caruso steals it.
