It's the first day of seventh grade and Addie's looking forward to unveiling her new and improved image. In order to become popular at school, she decides to host a party that Randy usually hosts, but he can't because of an accident.

When Addie finds out that her friends have been telling her little white lies, she takes things too far by drawing up an honesty policy for Zach and Geena. Meanwhile, Ben attempts to avoid doing work wherever possible.

Addie isn't at all worried about looking her best on school picture day until one of the popular girls points out how flat her hair is. Addie tries to improve her hairstyle, but only manages to make things worse.

Addie, Geena and Zack are now in eighth grade, and everything is going fine with Addie. She is Jake's girlfriend and her new teacher prefers her better than Maris, but things soon will get noisy when she accidentally releases gas.

Addie's eighth grade life is a well-oiled machine until Jolene, who's from Addie's former all-girl band, gets kicked out of St Agnes, and transfers to Rocky Road. Addie's life is turned upside down, so she plots to get Jolene kicked out of school.
