Sarah Smith

Sarah Elizabeth Smith is a Scottish radio and television news reporter with the BBC. She held the post of Scotland Editor, having joined the BBC in Spring 2014 for the run-up to the Scottish Independence Referendum on 18 September 2014. She also presents the BBC Radio 4 Today programme. Sarah Smith has been appointed as the BBC’s new North America editor.
