The Quality of Mercy
When Lewis and Hathaway are called in to investigate the murder of a rising star on the Oxford theatrical circuit, they focus their suspicions on the cast of his current play. The victim is found with a planted note quoting Shakespeare. As Lewis discovers all the theatrical ambitions and jealousies, he wonders if an actor would kill for a good part. Meanwhile, Hathaway thinks he may have uncovered just who killed Lewis's wife.
