The 22 contestants are thrown into their first big Service Challenge. With Jamie Oliver running the kitchen, they must feed 40 returning MasterChef Legends with a three-course meal.

The top five cooks have the chance to compete in an immunity challenge and avoid the first elimination of the season. But first, they need to complete Sofia's `wrap your hands around this' challenge.

The chefs make a dish from Mystery Box ingredients chosen by Jamie Oliver's parents, Trevor and Sally, and the four weakest dishes will send their makers into the next day's elimination.

One champion per team cooks for round one, with the winner taking their teammates into round two and into the garden for an immunity cook.

Andy's mother, Maree Allen, challenges the chefs in an elimination round. They must create a new dish by taking inspiration from one of her classic recipes like the Pine burger, Maree's lamb chops, and Maree's fruit salad slice.
