Stevie Ryan

YouTube personality Stevie Ryan found online fame with pop culture parodies and her own comic creations, Little Loca and Sceney Sceneable, before crossing over to television with an eponymous VH1 show. Born in Riverside, CA, Ryan relocated to Victorville with her family aged two and after graduating from high school, moved to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career. She first appeared in the short films "Rhapsody" (2006) and "Sell Out" (2006), the same year that she began posting humorous videos on YouTube. Ryan gradually amassed a large following with her spoofs of reality shows such as "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" (E!, 2007-) and "Toddlers and Tiaras" (TLC, 2008-2013) and musical parodies of Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Justin Bieber. She also created several hugely popular characters of her own including Mexican-American homegirl Little Loca and emo kid Sceney Sceneable, and in 2010 was approached by VH1 to showcase her talents in front of a much wider audience. Sketch comedy series "Stevie TV" (VH1, 2012-13) arrived on screens two years later and lasted two seasons before being canceled by the network. Ryan went on to guest on panel show "Mockpocalypse" (AXS, 2014-15), play herself in experimental psychological thriller "John Doe: Diary of a Serial Killer" (2015) and join Mike Dow and Brody Jenner as presenter of short-lived talk show "Sex with Brody" (E!, 2015). Just days after her beloved grandfather passed away in 2017, Ryan committed suicide at her Los Angeles home aged 33.
