Tommy Tiernan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS, 1993-2015) and "The Matchmaker" with Janeane Garofalo (1997). He then acted in "Hold Back the Night" (1999) with Christine Tremarco and the Stuart Townsend comedy "About Adam" (2001). More recently, Tiernan appeared in "Tommy Tiernan: Something Mental" (Comedy Central, 2007-08).
